ok, so some of you may be wondering what happened to updating this blog with new gfx . . well..
we’re lazy and occupied with other things..
also wouldn’t you be discouraged to continue and posts gfx for the public if you had people telling you that you were greedy for not handing out your personal customs? having other respectful blogs edit/ steal your customs without any permission, or credit whatsover? constantly having your customs stolen? having people credit the wrong people for your customs? seeing that other encourage people to go ahead and take your customs, because it’s on a game, therefore anyone can take it? so yes, of course me and bri would prefer not to update anymore.
Some of you guys are blind to rules of art and copyright. You may NOT take ANY FORM OF ART, and yes, PIXELS are ART. it doesn’t matter. it’s art. “it’s just a game”.still art. It doesn’t matter if it was posted online. People post their art online to share their artwork. Sharing as in visual.
“Art is meant to be shared” OF COURSE IT IS YOU BAFFOON. BUT YOU’RE READING IT THE WRONG WAY! Sharing as in sharing your accomplishment and show off what you made. Not share as in “omg look what i made! TAKE IT! TAKE IT!” no. people. look at deviant art then. people share their creations on there, but of course they don’t want you to take and share around for others to upload onto their own account and take credit of it. that’s why most people but their WATERMARK on it and also include copyright signature in the description. just as I put my name on my templates. JUST AS MANY ARTIST PUT THEIR SIGNATURE ON THEIR PAINTINGS. So please, it’s so frustrating to try and convince immature people when they read things the wrong way and use these idiotic quotes shown above.
To the people who constantly keep asking what happened to doll customs on classic. no. it is NOT your concern to know.
To the people who keep asking me “why can’t you post doll customs on your blog” NO. Majority of you conclude ” omg you selfish female dog” no. learn the history but you give your opinion and pick a side. The doll customs originate to lin. Lin does not want to see the doll customs spread. Do you really think it’ll be fine if I post the customs here in public for all of you to take? No, because the original owner does not wish for that to happen. You need to respect the original owner. Just because you have it in your possession does not mean you’re the rightful owner. you may not have ANY customs that were originated to someone who does not wish for them to be public. Just because you edit a stolen custom does NOT make them yours. ANY template that is stolen and is in your possession is deemed as stolen still. no edit can change that. so saying “but i edited it..” will not help. stealing is stealing. you have a stolen template in your possession, you’re a stealer. got that?
To the people who say “i gave you credit though” are you serious. yay you got one point, but the rests are red flags. have you gotten my permission to upload it? no. have you got my permission to even have possession of it? no. and anyways, personal. what does that mean.. oh. yep. can’t do that.
recreating/ tracing is also stealing. inspiration is one thing, but recreating is right next to stealing. just don’t. no.
the people who claim they are artists yet do not understand the rules of copyright are not actual artist.
don’t trace. recreate, upload, take, or have ANY sort of possession over PERSONAL templates.
comment any question you have regarding copyright and templates and i will answer.
